The work to be done is divided into work packages (WPs), each of which is under the direct control of a WP leader. WP leaders are responsible for the continuous monitoring and recording of effort, progress, and expenditure of their WP. They report on a regular basis to the project manager and the PB. The Project manager collates these reports and provides regular reports to all Partners in the Consortium, and provides data to the Coordinator to facilitate payment claims and progress reports to the EC. WPLs take a seat in the PB. They are able to raise proposals to the PB regarding effort and budget redistribution, and re-assignment of roles and responsibilities, within their respective WPs. The WPLs report directly to the PM and Coordinator, and provide input for the regular reporting.
